This travel nursing opportunity will expose you to a variety of surgical teams and innovative cardiovascular procedures, allowing for career development as you collaborate with experienced leaders in cardiac care. Required Skills & Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Proficiency assisting with open heart procedures, complex vascular cases, and robotic cardiac surgeries
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub in CVOR cases, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor the patients condition throughout each surgical case and immediately respond to changes
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile protocols, safety best practices, and infection prevention policies
• Document perioperative events and accurately maintain patient records
• Participate in department meetings and ongoing training opportunities
