OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Reston, VA by HMD Trucking
$25 per hourHMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Drive with HMD Trucking operating modern OTR rigs nationwide with dedicated HazMat lanes.
Daily Role:
- Transport hazardous freight safely across state lines
- Comply with federal, state, and company regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and communication
What You’ll Gain:
- Mileage pay at 65 CPM (+2 CPM HazMat) with 2,500 mi weekly average
- In-house maintenance support on trucks under 3 years old
- Home every two weeks plus health, dental, vision, PTO & 401(k)
Ideal candidates hold a CDL A license with 12+ months of experience and prioritize safety and reliability.
