Operates company‑provided truck, manages flow of cylinders, builds lasting customer relationships, and supports warehouse operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Cylinder Handling: Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations. Record Keeping: Accurately record deliveries and pick‑ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including those from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA. Warehouse Support: Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed. Required Qualifications Valid TX Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Valid Medical Examiner’s Card. Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications. One (1) year of prior Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a commitment to road safety to include no more than two (2) convictions, OR two (2) at‑fault accidents in the last three years; OR no more than a combination of one (1) conviction and one (1) at‑fault accident in the last three years. Graduates with a diploma from an accredited driving school and a minimum of one (1) year of prior driving experience within the last five (5) years are also welcome. Candidates must be at least 21 years old. Proficiency in navigating and comprehending material safety data sheets. Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment. Comfortable operating vehicles with hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending is also part of daily operations. Availability to support the team with occasional overtime if necessary. Ability to obtain and maintain collaborative safety credentials for customer site access. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (Forklift/Moffett). Benefits Pay: $27.50 per hour. Quarterly Bonus Potential. Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift.
