CDL Driver- Hazmat

Position Purpose The CDL Driver - Hazmat is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver products to customer locations or job sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while following all DOT regulations. Our Drivers are essential partners in our success, delivering reliability, trust, and a great customer experience. Key Responsibilities Follow all DOT rules, maintain a clean driving record, and ensure company vehicles are operated safely. Comply with federal and state regulations for transportation of hazardous materials. Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and on‑time deliveries. Load, unload, and organize orders, securing products and separating hazardous material appropriately. Confirm routes and inventory by double‑checking purchase orders and delivery tickets. Support job site safety by identifying and reporting potential hazards. Take required photos of delivered products. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and receipts. Travel and Physical Requirements Local travel only; deliveries start and end at the branch. Must lift up to 100 pounds and perform repetitive bending, crouching, and standing. Must meet DOT medical certification standards. Minimum Qualifications Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT endorsement. Current DOT medical certification. Completed FMCSA registration. Up to 100‑pound lifting capability. 21 years old or older for hazardous materials transport. Clean driving record (no hits, runs, or DWI/DUI in last 18 months). Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance, and OSHA safety regulations. Basic computer skills for recording deliveries and inventory. Preferred Qualifications Air brake endorsement. Experience operating manual or automatic transmission vehicles. Valid forklift, Moffett, or crane operator (CCOC) certifications. Commercial driving experience with familiarity in DOT/OSHA safety regulations. Competencies Safety first mindset. Dependability and reliability. Customer service orientation. Time management.
