The Regional Driver Position Position: Regional Class A CDL Flatbed Driver (Company W2) Freight: Primarily flatbed, 50% drop & hook / 50% live load–unload Typical Weekly Miles: 2,500–3,000 Home Time: Guaranteed home every weekend Terminals/Primary Lanes: Southeast and surrounding regional markets What You’ll Earn Average weekly pay: around $1,300–$1,500, with a guaranteed weekly minimum for regional drivers. New drivers can earn $80,000+ in their first year with performance-based pay schedules. Mileage pay that increases with tenure and experience, plus safety and performance incentives. Additional pay for short-haul loads under 100 miles, detention, and layover when applicable.
