TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Lexington, Kentucky, 40536!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience required in specialty License: Compact or state license required at time of submission Certifications: BLS, Oncology Chemotherapy and Biotherapy experience required Must-Have: - Ambulatory clinic experience preferred - Phone triage experience preferred - Previous charge experience preferred - Compliance requirements: BLS, Math exam, Med/Surg Competency exam, Oncology Competency exam Description: Responsible for providing patient care in an ambulatory clinic setting. Must have experience in oncology chemotherapy and biotherapy. Monday through Friday schedule. Maximum of 24 hours approved for time off per 13-week contract. Notification of requested days off must occur prior to start date. Candidates will float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. Must discuss previous work experience to ensure eligibility for rehire. Rehire eligibility is checked weekly. Modules may be billable and are completed during orientation and annually. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are essential. Ability to handle a daily census of approximately 90 patients is expected. Familiarity with special procedures and patient diagnoses within the specialty is beneficial.
