About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an Emergency Room setting. License: Required compact or state license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Candidates must have experience in an Emergency Room setting. No trauma level one experience is necessary. Travel experience is preferred, but not necessary. First-time travelers with level one ER experience will be accepted. RTO for longer than one week will not be approved unless in special circumstances. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted. Description: Candidates must have two years of experience in an Emergency Room setting. Required certifications include NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. Compact or state license is required. No trauma level one experience is necessary. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. RTO for longer than one week will not be approved unless there are special circumstances. Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital. Compliance requirements include passing an advanced math exam, medication/pharmacology exam, EKG onboarding exam, and other necessary competencies. Modules are required to be completed during orientation and annually, and they will vary by specialty. Candidates must ensure they have not previously worked within this facility unless they have been gone for six months or longer. Licensure hits will not be accepted for candidates. It is important to note any previous employment at this facility during the submission process.
