Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/25/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2479.40 Opportunity: PCU/Stepdown RN Job Details: • Night shift position working 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours long • Shift hours are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Minimum of 18 months permanent Stepdown/PCU experience required • Must have an active Ohio license or active compact state license in hand at time of submission • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS - must be active and in hand at time of submission • ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation with a required passing score • Maximum of 2 attempts allowed to pass required assessments • One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required - references must be from assignments worked within the past 12 months Facility: This facility is part of a large, well-established health system known for delivering high-quality patient care across a wide range of specialties. The PCU/Stepdown unit provides an intermediate level of care for patients who require closer monitoring than a general medical-surgical floor but do not need intensive care. The organization maintains high clinical standards and supports nursing staff with structured competency and education requirements throughout their contract.
