Details Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Weekend rotation required, either Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon Requirements Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required in hand Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA) NIHSS certification preferred One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months Additional Information ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts allowed to pass Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Candidates with an open background check case will not be considered Candidates with any license hits will not be considered Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless otherwise approved First-time travelers are not being considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-738658.
