Facility Maintenance Manager

Classification: Exempt Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 Report to: General Manager Date: April 2026 The Facility Maintenance Manager will oversee and lead the maintenance procedures of the building and facility grounds at the HNL Unit. Directs and coordinates the activities of maintenance employees with daily repair upkeep of the building and equipment. This position will also assume responsibilities for the sanitation team, ensuring the cleanliness of the building, materials and equipment inside and out of the build is kept up to standards. Essential Functions Review job orders to determine responsibility. Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations. Direct activities on utility systems such as the supply of heat, HVAC, steam, electric power, and air required for operations. Develop preventative maintenance programs. Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards. Plan, develop and implement new procedures to improve operations while minimizing costs. Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations. Manage the sanitation team of the unit to make sure the unit itself inside and outside is clean and being cleaned and meeting FSQ and HACCP regulations. Communicate and work along-side with FSQ to ensure the sanitation department is ready for any/all audits, whether internal or external audits. Manage Facility Porters to ensure building and operational areas are kept clean and meet HACCP regulations, daily inspections, customer expectations, etc. Communicate with shifts and all internal departments to ensure required sanitation is complete on requested times. Ensure steps for safe and clean operation of all machinery. Schedule shift personnel following the proper bidding procedures. Promote safe working procedures to prevent accidents to self and coworkers. Stress safe working procedures to all employees daily. Immediately investigate, document, and report all on the job accidents following company safety procedures. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, facility management, or a similar field is preferred. 5 to 10 years in maintenance with managerial experience preferred. Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems. Experience with OSHA-related requirements. Must be able to motivate and build a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, & Excel). Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and leadership abilities. Communicate all related matters to shift personnel with daily debriefings. Must attend all company provided supervision/management training. Maintain and update required OSHA Material Safety Data Sheet library. Prepare department budget and monitor expenditure of funds in the budget. Supervisory Responsibility This position has supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a flight operations environment, and this position will routinely use standard Airline Catering equipment. The facility is widely refrigerated and requires work inside refrigerated processing areas. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and stand for long periods and reach with hands and arm. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time exempt position in a 24/7/365 work environment. Flexibility with weekdays, evenings and weekend required.
