Security Officer Enhanced Patrolling – Chino, CA Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document relevant details for follow‑up. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including loading areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter points. Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized activity by observing site conditions, reporting concerns, and following post instructions. Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, reviewing unusual activity, and assisting with traffic and visitor flow during busy shipping and receiving periods. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
