Medical Assistant

Responsibilities Assist physician and/or practice staff with designated duties related to administrative tasks requiring both clinical and non-clinical skills. Facilitate efficient and effective patient flow including preparing the patient for the visit and providing specific services as determined by providers. Perform necessary administrative duties that assure all information is current and updated. Maintain and clean environment, work area, equipment, and communicate any equipment malfunctions. Collect and monitor patient data; report patient data and patient need as directed. Engage in process and quality improvement activities. Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent Completion of a High School Medical Assistant Career Technical Program, or Graduation from an accredited School of Medical Assisting, or Completion of Military Medic training, or Certification as a Paramedic (EMT-P), or At least one year of experience as a physician-trained Medical Assistant in a similar clinical setting Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Math, Computer Skills Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient patient flow and accurate data management.
