divh2Senior Cash Application Specialist/h2pThe Senior Cash Application Specialist is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accurate and timely application of customer payments to accounts receivable. This role requires advanced knowledge of cash application processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to resolve complex issues. The senior specialist will serve as a subject matter expert, mentor junior team members, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and maintain financial integrity./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliApply and reconcile high-volume, complex cash transactions daily, including ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit card payments./liliManage escalated issues related to unapplied cash, short payments, and deductions./liliProvide guidance and training to junior cash application specialists./liliAct as a resource for resolving complex customer payment issues and system discrepancies./liliAnalyze cash application trends and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy./liliAssist in developing and implementing automation tools and best practices for cash application./liliPartner with Collections, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve payment discrepancies and improve customer experience./liliCommunicate proactively with internal stakeholders regarding potential problem accounts and payment delays./liliPrepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports for management./liliEnsure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and company policies./liliServe as a subject matter expert for ERP systems (Dynamics AX, Great Plains, etc.) and customer portals (Ariba, Coupa, etc.)./liliParticipate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation projects related to cash application./liliLead initiatives related to cash application process improvements, including automation and integration projects./liliSupport audits and provide documentation as required./li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulli3 years cash application experience with large volume, high profile accounts./liliCash application expertise, End To End AR operations skills (order to cash skills), Analytical Problem solving/liliAdvanced knowledge of cash application process./liliAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)./liliStrong knowledge of ERP systems and customer portals./liliExcellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills./li/ulh3Education/h3ulliHigh School Degree / GED Required./li/ulpWe offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, ADD, tuition reimbursement, and more.
