Quality Inspector

Compensation $19.87 and up (per hour) Available Shifts Day Shift-6:00am-2:00pm (Monday-Friday) Text To Apply Number View phone number on click.appcast.io (928‑NOVOLEX) Position Summary The Quality Inspector has overall responsibility and authority for quality and procedures and operations. This position oversees quality systems to produce products cost‑effective and safely while operating within Novolex quality standards. The role reports directly to the Quality Manager / SQF Practitioner. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Overall responsibility for implementing and maintaining the quality policy to ensure quality standards and goals are met. Promotion of a culture of continuous improvement. Maintain documentation and production approvals related to quality. Advise supervisors and technicians on quality issues, product security, and performance. Maintain and calibrate all lab equipment and procedures to standards. Ensure acceptable attendance. Manage equipment and controls for training and effectiveness. Cross‑train within the department for coverage during vacations, illness, and leave. Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two (2) or more years of experience in quality and safety. Knowledge of basic Statistical Process Control (SPC) and related quality tools. Experience working with manufacturing‑based technology preferred. Computer skills in Microsoft Word for Windows and Excel. Basic office skills.
