Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

Saint Joseph's College of Maine is hiring for the position of Assistant Men's Soccer Coach!

SJC seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Men's Soccer Coach to support the head coach in all aspects of the men's soccer program. The assistant coach will help promote a positive team culture, assist with player development, and contribute to the overall success of the program in alignment with the College's mission and NCAA Division III philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and conducting practices, training sessions, and game strategies.
• Support in recruitment of qualified student-athletes.
• Provide mentorship and academic support to student-athletes.
• Assist with game-day preparation, including travel coordination and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with NCAA, GNAC, and college policies and procedures.
• Foster a culture of sportsmanship, accountability, and teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 5 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level or a comparable competitive environment
• Must have a valid driver's license, complete a driver training program and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• CPR/AED certification required and must maintain certification
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
• Commitment to the values of Division III athletics and student-athlete development.
