Train and mentor Accountants to ensure compliance with Sinceri policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service and support to our communities and home office teams, as well as property ownership groups.Record monthly journal entriesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsComplete monthly close duties timely and accuratelyMentor, train and review work product of Sinceri AccountantsAssist with annual budgeting, treasury services, and bank covenant calculationsFollow documented procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAPTake ownership of the general ledgers and financial reporting for multiple communitiesParticipate in external audits and year-end tax returns prepared by outside firms as requiredEstablish strong working relationships within the accounting department and across department linesAssist with special projects assignedRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and/or a combination of education, training and work experienceExcellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficient with MS office (especially Excel, Outlook and Teams) and accounting systems (Yardi preferred)Motivated self-starter able to successfully set and meet goalsAbility to work well under pressure, establish priorities, and meets deadlinesAbility to demonstrate sound judgment and integrityAbility to proactively problem solve challenges and opportunities Sinceri Senior Living
