IT Support Technician

Form Energy IT Support TechnicianThe Information Technology group at Form Energy collaborates closely and supports end users across the U.S. in four locations and with a distributed workforce of onsite, hybrid, and remote employees.As an IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for our Weirton, WV location and work within a broader team to support projects and IT activities across the company. This will include day-to-day internal customer service and support for first-level issues, assisting end users with onboarding, set-up, service requests, and troubleshooting for a fleet of Windows/Mac devices and peripheral equipment. Maintaining hardware and software installation and configuration and analyzing and evaluating network connectivity-related issues. This role is onsite with a 6:00am-2:30pm shift.What You'll Do:Provide tier 1 and 2 support to Form Energy employeesConfigure, maintain and support IT hardware including user laptops, desktops and lab computersInstall and configure appropriate software according to specificationsTroubleshoot printer, AV and network issuesAssist with the onboarding of employeesCreate new user accountsManage an inventory of IT assets and suppliesUpdate documented processesWhat You'll Bring:College degree or equivalent work experience and 1+ years of IT experienceOutstanding customer service skillsAbility to multitask; a quick learner who is adaptableExcellent troubleshooting skillsExperience supporting onsite usersExperience with printer supportIT support/helpdesk experience with Windows in an AD environment; Mac experience is a plusExperience with standard business applications, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Adobe Acrobat, 1PasswordThis role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA.
