Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Sunburst Workforce Advisors Program - Good Shepherd Medical Center.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - 3 years of experience as an Echo Tech preferred. - Experience with a range of echocardiographic techniques, including stress and TEE, preferred.

Required Credentials: - Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with a focus in Cardiac Sonography.

Unit Details: - Performs transthoracic (TTE), transesophageal (TEE), and stress echocardiograms. - Uses contrast agents such as Definity and agitated bubble techniques. - Prepares preliminary findings for the interpreting cardiologist. - May start and manage IV lines when credentialed and trained.

Shift & Scheduling: - Mon-Fri. - Holidays as required.

Floating Requirements: - Floated to other departments where qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated.

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
