The Buckley School is a dynamic, nurturing learning community committed to equity and inclusion, and as such, seeks to hire talented teachers with diverse backgrounds.Varsity Tennis Assistant CoachThe Buckley School is seeking a qualified Tennis Assistant Coach to coach the varsity tennis team for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities may include assisting with organizing and running practices, scheduling games, coaching at games, scouting, overseeing individual and team conditioning workouts, compiling statistics, administering basic first aid, driving to matches and practices, and other duties as required.REQUIRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS• Previous coaching or competitive tennis experience at the junior high/high school or collegiate level• Demonstrated competency in diversity, equity, and inclusion• Bachelor's degree• Experience coaching tennis teams• Ability to operate a school-provided van to transport student-athletes to away games, practices, or other school-sanctioned events as needed• Current driver's license• Be outgoing and friendly• Enthusiastic for the sportCOMPENSATION$4,017 – $6,020 Depending on experience (In-Season)If there is a need to coach during pre-season, the rate will be $39.23 per hour.HOW TO APPLYInterested candidates should apply by visiting: a cover letter please explain how you have included diversity, equity, and inclusion in your work with students or colleagues.ABOUT THE SCHOOLThe Buckley School proudly carries on the mission of its founder, Dr. Isabelle Buckley, who in 1933 set out to provide students with an education characterized not only by academic excellence, but also a sense of self-esteem, responsibility, and character.
