Materials Manager

Lead Supply Chain Excellence in a Dynamic Manufacturing Environment Are you a strategic supply chain leader who thrives on balancing inventory, production schedules, and customer commitments? We're seeking a local to North Wales, PA Manager, Materials to oversee all aspects of materials management, inventory control, production planning, and scheduling within our manufacturing operation. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for ensuring material availability, optimizing inventory investment, and driving on‑time delivery performance. We are looking for a candidate in the North Wales, PA area. What You'll Do Lead materials planning, forecasting, inventory control, and production scheduling activities Develop and maintain short- and long-range inventory plans for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods Oversee Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes Coordinate supplier releases to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations Monitor production capacity and recommend solutions to support changing customer demand Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, FIFO processes, and inventory control best practices Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and Engineering teams to optimize performance Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory, delivery, scheduling, and materials management Lead continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Develop, coach, and mentor a team of materials, planning, and inventory professionals What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field 5+ years of progressive experience in: Manufacturing Production Planning & Scheduling Inventory Control Supply Chain Operations Manufacturing Environments 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams Strong understanding of: MRP Systems Capacity Planning Inventory Management Forecasting & Demand Planning Experience working cross‑functionally to achieve operational objectives Preferred Qualifications ERP experience, particularly in LN and JD Edwards Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or Continuous Improvement experience Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities Experience supporting high‑volume manufacturing operations What Success Looks Like You are a proactive leader who can: Balance customer demand with manufacturing capacity Reduce inventory costs while maintaining service levels Improve inventory accuracy and material flow Drive production efficiency and on‑time delivery Build strong supplier and internal partnerships Lead teams through growth, change, and continuous improvement Why Join Us Opportunity to make a significant impact on plant performance Lead a critical function within a growing manufacturing organization Collaborative environment with cross‑functional leadership exposure Continuous improvement culture focused on innovation and operational excellence Competitive compensation and benefits package Ready to Lead and Make an Impact? #MaterialsManager #SupplyChainJobs #ManufacturingJobs #ProductionPlanning #InventoryManagement #OperationsLeadership #MRP #ProductionControl #LeanManufacturing #Hiring #LeadershipOpportunity #APICS #JDedwards #SupplyChainLeadership #J-18808-Ljbffr
