Environmental Permitting Lead – Digital Infrastructure Role Overview We are seeking an Environmental Permitting Lead to manage environmental due diligence and permitting for large-scale digital infrastructure projects. This role requires technical expertise in environmental regulations, strong program management skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, efficiency, and sustainability across project lifecycles. Key Responsibilities Lead environmental due diligence, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, noise studies, air permitting, wetlands, cultural resource evaluations, and species assessments. Manage permitting and regulatory compliance efforts, including Section 404, Section 106 consultation, air permits, and environmental impact studies. Assess project designs for environmental impacts and provide guidance on mitigation strategies. Coordinate environmental obligations with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders. Serve as subject matter expert on environmental issues and communicate findings to internal leadership and external partners. Represent projects in public meetings and regulatory engagements, developing proactive and responsive communications. Ensure timely alignment of environmental approvals with project schedules and strategic objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in environmental due diligence and permitting for large-scale infrastructure projects. Experience with Section 404 permitting, air permits, and noise studies. Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to travel up to 30% to project sites. Flexible hybrid work environment.
