Developmental Disabilities Support Specialist (office-based)

What are the responsibilities of a Customer Support Specialist?

• Engaging in productive phone conversations with people who have developmental disabilities as well as their families and other stakeholders
• Answering questions and addressing concerns
• Conveying information about available human services, how to apply for services, and the timeframe for receiving services
• Documenting details from phone conversations in a computer system

What Liberty offers:

• $18.00 to $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

You will also receive training and gain valuable health and human services knowledge and experience.

Where and when you'll work:

You will work onsite at Liberty's office at 8850 Emerald Street in Boise, nearby the Boise Towne Square Mall. You will enjoy a collegial and professional office environment and work alongside a team of caring and compassionate health and human service professionals. You have the option to work either four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days, Monday through Friday during daytime hours.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Previous experience in scheduling, customer service, call center work, or a healthcare/human service role
• Bilingual or conversational Spanish speaking skills aren't required but are highly valued
• Priority consideration given to applicants with professional or personal experience supporting people who have disabilities
