Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented, safety-conscious Metal Plating Line Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality metal plating processes on steel and aluminum parts. By following precise technical instructions outlined in Work Travelers for each part, you will ensure tasks are completed safely, accurately, and to our exact specifications. A thorough understanding of our plating processes, a commitment to safety, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards are crucial to helping us achieve our company's objectives. Requirements Job & Quality Requirements Plate steel or aluminum part(s). Operate overhead crane. Visually inspect part and racking technique prior to processing. Set controls to maintain specified temperature of bath. Determine length of time part remains in bath to reach desired plating thickness. Perform in process inspections. Complete final inspection after processing. Document findings and processing record on Work Traveler. Ensure work gets done safely and efficiently. Job Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Able to read and understand English Ability to operate overhead crane Lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted Ability to use micrometer Attention to detail Willingness to train and learn new tasks Plating Experience a Plus. Due to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) all employees are required to be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
