Full-Time Evening Intake Clinician PositionCome work with a talented team! Signet Health manages Behavioral Health Services for Medstar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC, Washington, DC) and has an opening for a Full-Time Evening Intake Clinician position.The Intake Clinician will conduct clinical assessments of prospective patients in the Emergency Department (ED) and determine patients' appropriateness for the program. Also, as needed, this person is responsible for providing direct clinical social work services to patients and their families as a part of the multidisciplinary team with most emphasis on completing Psychosocial Assessments, conducting groups, facilitating marital and/or family therapies, assisting in program development and developing, implementing, and reviewing Treatment Plans on the units. This position is Monday through Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm,Major Duties and Essential Functions:Coordinates the psychiatric assessment process with the attending psychiatrists.Identifies age-appropriate developmental tasks and needs as evidenced in the development of care and the treatment planning sessions.Completes Psychosocial Assessments, reviews treatment plans and conducts groups, as needed on the Units.Maintains contact with nursing homes, medical-surgical units and other facilities and agencies to promote the program and to provide education regarding services available for their clients/residents.Provides ongoing communications with referral sources concerning the status of patients referred into the program.Requirements/QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field required.Preferred Education: Master's degree preferred for LICSW and LPC licensing tracks.Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an adult inpatient behavioral health and substance use facility.Preferred Experience: Proven track record of conducting therapeutic groups and facilitating patient access to community resources.Licensure: Active Washington, DC licensure as an LICSW or LPC (or immediate eligibility for endorsement) is required.Salary Range Information (Based on years of experience)$85,269-$104,218Hospital/Program DescriptionSignet Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).*Please note that resumes should not include photographs.
