Qualifications
- This evaluationfocused practice in central New Mexico is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform structured, nontreatment disability assessments for Veterans in a fulltime role. The position involves reviewing medical histories, conducting onetime clinical evaluations, and completing federally guided electronic Disability Benefits Questionnaires within required timelines. Additional responsibilities include ensuring accuracy, adhering to established protocols, and submitting all documentation promptly. This opportunity offers a competitive compensation package.
Qualifications
- Primary care experience required, preferably in assessmentbased or examdriven clinical work
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active and unrestricted New Mexico NP or PA license
- DEA eligibility (not required for nontreatment exams)
- Strong computer proficiency and comfort with electronic documentation systems
- Ability to work independently while following structured federal guidelines
