About the Position

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and cognitive function.

• Train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and techniques.

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Texas state regulations and facility policies.

• Collaborate with physicians, PTs, speech therapists, nursing staff, and caregivers.

• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home programs.

Requirements

• Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Previous experience in LTC or SNF setting preferred.

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
