Summary: ATS is seeking NDT Level II Techs with PT (FPI) per NAS-410 for Castings Inspections. Work will be performed near Cleveland, OH. This is a CONTRACT position with competitive hourly pay and per diem for qualified inspectors. This is an any shift assignment that is expected to last up to 90 days, depending on workload and customer needs. Assignment to another location in the same region possible, depending on workload. Must be willing to travel between locations as needed.\n

Responsibilities/Duties : NDT Level II Technicians \n

\n

\n
• Perform examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
\n
• Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for OJT and guidance of trainees
\n
• Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations.
\n
• Be able to prepare written instructions and to organize and report the results of examinations.
\n
• Work independently and support team members Perform other job related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications \n
\n
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: \n
\n
\n

\n
• Level II PT - Meet the minimum requirements of an NDT Level II PT (FPI) Technician per NAS-410; provide documentation of education, training, and experience in the applicable NDT method(s); have a working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes; ability to effectively communicate with other departments, and customers to report issues and solve problems.
\n
• Castings inspection experience with PT (FPI)
\n
• Additional NDT certs are a plus.
\n
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
\n

• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.

• Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Work Conditions: \n

\n

• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
\n
• Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
\n
• Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
\n
• Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
\n
• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
\n
• Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week
\n
• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
