Registered Nurse, Ambulatory Surgery

Registered Nurse (RN) – Plastic Surgery | Part-Time | Boca Raton, FL We're a fully ambulatory surgery center specializing in plastic surgery, and we've been serving Boca Raton for 30 years. We're hiring an experienced RN to join our team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll provide pre-op, intraoperative, and post-op care in a modern, fast-paced ASC. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time based on performance and business needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Prep patients for surgery: consents, vitals, intake, IV placement, and coordination with the surgeon and anesthesiologist Circulate in the OR, document all OR forms, and handle sterile supplies and instruments using aseptic technique Assist the anesthesiologist and scrub tech while maintaining sterile technique Monitor patients intraoperatively and flag any changes to the team Administer medications and IV infusions with accurate documentation Perform phlebotomy, foley catheter placement, and IV placement Recover patients in PACU and discharge them safely Educate patients and families on post-op care, pain management, and medications

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Active, unencumbered Florida RN license BSN or equivalent education and experience 2+ years of clinical nursing experience Proficient in EKG interpretation Solid grasp of physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology Strong communicator who can manage time and stay detail-oriented in a busy environment PACU or acute care experience preferred
