Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | 40 Hours per Week | 8-Hour Variable Shifts (0700–1530, 0900–1730, and 1100–1930)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulator duties in the operating room across a high-volume OR environment averaging 40–60 cases per day across 21 ORs covering all surgical specialties
• Participate in on-call rotation including 6–8 weeknight calls and 1–2 weekend calls during the contract period, with a 30-minute response time requirement
• Float to affiliated regional facilities as needed
• Scrub in as needed in addition to primary circulator responsibilities
• Complete downtime tasks as assigned and adapt to low-census situations, which may include being placed on call
• Adhere to all facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season if vaccinations are declined

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 5 years of operating room experience, including experience in a larger facility with a comparable OR size of 20 or more rooms
• At least one prior travel nursing assignment
• Circulator experience required; Da Vinci Robotic experience required; Trauma Level II experience required
• Must have personal reliable transportation — cannot rely on rideshare services due to on-call responsibilities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Surgical specialty experience in General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, or GI is a plus
• Flexible, resilient, and adaptable candidates with a strong work ethic and positive interpersonal skills are highly encouraged to apply
