Order Processing Specialist

Description
The primary role of the Remote Customer Service Representative (CSR) is to provide knowledgeable and professional support to customers by answering questions related to products, pricing, availability, orders, and services. This position is responsible for day-to-day order entry, order management, and customer service activities while working from a remote environment.
The CSR serves as a key point of contact for customers through phone, email and other digital communication channels. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key performance metrics include call volume, order processing measurements and accuracy, response times and attendance expectations.
The ideal candidate has a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and building positive customer relationships.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Interactions
• Engage in active listening to understand customer needs and concerns.
• Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email and other electronic communication channels.
• Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and empathy during all customer interactions.
• Build trust and establish positive relationships with customers to promote loyalty and satisfaction.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused presence in a remote work environment.
Customer Solutions
• Use problem-solving skills to address and resolve customer concerns efficiently.
• Identify and assess customer needs based on interactions and account information.
• Research issues and communicate solutions clearly, accurately, and concisely.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in responding to customer requests.
• Escalate complex issues when appropriate while ensuring proper follow-up and resolution.
Order Management and Process Improvement
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently while following established policies and procedures.
• Monitor order status and proactively address issues that may impact fulfillment or customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate customer and order information in company systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and share recommendations with leadership.
• Utilize order management, CRM, and customer service systems effectively to support customers and business objectives.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
