Accounting Bookkeeper

$20 - $22 per hour

Snelling Staffing is looking for a Bookkeeper for a local CPA firm in the Baton Rouge area. Our client is looking for a dependable bookkeeper with experience in general accounting duties and tax preparation. This is a full-time career position paying in the range of $20-$22 per hour with an extensive benefits package.

Bookkeeper Duties:

Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Prepare bank deposits
Reconciliation of all accounting including balance sheets and income statement accounts
Payroll and Benefits administration
Tax preparation
Preparing invoices and paying vendors

Position Requirements:

MUST HAVE 3 years of accounting experience!!!
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience using QuickBooks is REQUIRED!!
Professional demeanor with high regard for confidential and sensitive material
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
