Accounting Bookkeeper

$20 - $22 per hour

Snelling Staffing is looking for a Bookkeeper for a local CPA firm in the Baton Rouge area. Our client is looking for a dependable bookkeeper with experience in general accounting duties and tax preparation. This is a full-time career position paying in the range of $20-$22 per hour with an extensive benefits package.


Bookkeeper Duties:

  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Reconciliation of all accounting including balance sheets and income statement accounts
  • Payroll and Benefits administration
  • Tax preparation
  • Preparing invoices and paying vendors
Position Requirements:
  • MUST HAVE 3 years of accounting experience!!!
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using QuickBooks is REQUIRED!!
  • Professional demeanor with high regard for confidential and sensitive material
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
