Occupational Therapist K-12 Contract PositionMake a meaningful impact by providing essential Occupational Therapy services to K-12 students in a supportive school setting on a full-time contract basis. This opportunity allows you to work collaboratively with dedicated educators and families, making a difference every day for students with varying needs.Key Qualifications:Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Maryland, or eligibility to obtain licensurePrevious experience working in school settings or with school-aged children preferredStrong knowledge of pediatric OT intervention techniques and documentationExcellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teamsAbility to adapt to diverse caseloads, ranging from kindergarten through high schoolPrimary Responsibilities:Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions to support student success in academic environmentsCollaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student progressContribute to the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by providing relevant assessment findings and recommendationsMaintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school, district, and legal requirementsParticipate in team meetings and professional development opportunitiesPosition Details:Two full-time opportunities available35 hours per weekCaseload includes students in grades K-12Discover the rewarding experience of contributing to student growth and achievement while advancing your own skills in a dynamic, educational environment.
