Job Summary
We areThis role is responsible for preparing, packaging, documenting, and processing shipments while ensuring compliance with U.S. export regulations and company quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced warehouse environment while delivering excellent internal and external customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and ship domestic and international orders accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and transportation providers.
• Package raw materials and finished goods using proper packaging techniques to ensure safe delivery.
• Perform high-volume shipping operations with accuracy and efficiency.
• Enter shipment information into company systems and maintain accurate records.
• Generate shipping labels, tracking numbers, and required shipping documentation.
• Provide shipment status and tracking information to internal teams and customers.
• Operate barcode scanners, handheld RF devices, and shipping equipment.
• Process outgoing mail using the Pitney Bowes mailing system.
• Follow established shipping procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Finished Goods teams.
• Perform additional warehouse and shipping duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of shipping and logistics experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Experience processing both domestic and international shipments.
• Familiarity with shipment consolidation and freight forwarding.
• Hands-on experience with shipping software including:
• • UPS WorldShip
  • FedEx Ship Manager
  • DHL Easy Ship Professional
• Experience with Automated Export System (AES).
• Knowledge of export documentation including:
• • Air Way Bills (AWB)
  • Shipper's Export Declarations (SED)
  • Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI)
• Experience with U.S. export regulations and compliance.
• Hazardous materials shipping experience (including Lithium-Ion batteries) is preferred.
• Experience packaging raw materials and finished goods using proper shipping methods.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of warehouse shipping operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs .
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent attendance.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as business needs require.
