Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist provides essential HR support to local leadership and employee teams across multiple states, delivering comprehensive services such as recruitment, payroll, HRIS, performance management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, talent management, risk and compliance, and special projects. Responsibilities Perform operational HR tasks within the Frankfort location. Coordinate the end-to-end recruiting process. Facilitate timely hiring of qualified applicants in alignment with company policies and objectives. Schedule interviews and screen candidates. Conduct interviews as required. Conduct or obtain background checks and verify employee eligibility. Maintain applicant tracking and records in accordance with requirements. Process weekly payroll and ensure timely processing of new hires, terminations, and other personnel changes. Maintain payroll and timekeeping records; research and resolve payroll inquiries. Reconcile related accounts, organize data, prepare reports, and analyze results as needed. Coordinate onboarding for new hires and collaborate with hiring managers to integrate and retain associates. Partner with local management and the Environmental, Health and Safety Committee to promote safety culture and best practices. Recommend and implement revisions to policies, programs, and practices as needed. Collaborate with the legal department to ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws, FMLA, OSHA, EEO, and ADA protections at state and federal levels. Minimum qualifications Two years of administrative experience across multiple HR disciplines, including payroll, recruiting, benefits, employee relations, and collective bargaining agreement administration. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Flexibility, collaborative spirit, and resourcefulness. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Effective time management and prioritization with a proven deadline track record. High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite. Self-directed, quick learner capable of delivering results amidst shifting priorities in a dynamic environment. Experience with Pennsylvania employment laws preferred. Compensation Pay range: USD 60,000 - 70,000 per year . This is a full-time role with Monday through Friday work hours, subject to business needs. Work environment Primarily an office setting with occasional duties in a manufacturing environment. May require adherence to safety procedures and use of appropriate PPE when applicable. Physical demands Regular communication and mobility are required. The role may involve standing and walking, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and use of PPE as needed in manufacturing areas.
