Accounting Specialist

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to be a part of our team. This role is great for someone who has AP, AR, and payroll experience and attention for detail, outstanding communication skills and has a "go-getter" mindset. Accounting Specialist Responsibilities: Review and process AP and stay on top of AR recording payments, monitoring outstanding balances, and analyzing customer credit. Post payment remittance (electronic and manual) to client accounts Process invoices from vendors to determine that all outstanding balances are approved and paid on time. Manage invoice reporting, identify anomalies or changes, and work with internal departments to resolve any discrepancies. Process credit card payments and refunds utilizing internal software Process accounts receivable transactions, including payment processing. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding billing and payments. Investigate misapplied payments to correct and ensure proper allocation Responsible for processing refund requests and making general ledger adjustments Help with month end close and audits. Support daily office operations, answer phones, order supplies, handle mail, and work with vendors.
