Job Description

A manufacturer in the Eastern Indianapolis region is searching for multiple General Production Workers on various shifts. The role involves physical labor in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Manually load and unload products to and from machines repetitively.
• Push and pull boxes of products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Visually inspect final products for quality assurance.
• Occasionally use shot blasting equipment to finish products.
• Weigh and package products according to customer specifications.
• Ensure proper documentation of materials and batch numbers.
• Withstand heat and remain on your feet for 8 to 12 hours at a time.

Essential Skills

• General labor skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to handle physically demanding tasks.
• Proficiency in general production and manual labor.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.
• Minimum of 1+ year per job in work history.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with potential for overtime extending shifts by 2 to 4 hours // $22
• 3rd shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with potential for overtime extending shifts by 2 to 4 hours // $23
• TRAINING
  • The first 15 weeks you will train on 1st shift 6:30am to 3:00pm // $21

Work Environment

This role is set in a very hot, dirty, and oily environment, requiring resilience and the ability to work under physically demanding conditions. The fast-paced production setting requires individuals who can adapt quickly and maintain high standards of performance.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, IN.

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $49920.00/yr.
