Job Description
Join Our Team as an ER/ICU Nurse!

- Shift: 12-Hour Nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM (start time may flex)
- Schedule: Every other weekend commitment
- Primary Location: St. Elizabeth Hospital, with floating required to:
- St. Clare Hospital, Lakewood, WA
- St. Joseph Medical Center, Tacoma, WA
- St. Elizabeth Hospital, Enumclaw, WA
- Unit: Emergency Department
- Total Beds: 11 beds with 1 trauma bay
- Patient Load: Approximately 35 patients per day
- Ratios: 4 patients to 1 nurse
- Managed by: Melissa Irwin, Charge Nurse available
- Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS or ENPC
- TNCC
- Floating: Required to float to ICU
- Clinical Profile Review: Manager will call for interview after review
- Orientation: Floor-specific orientation provided
- EMR: EPIC system in use
- Support Staff:
- No Nurse Aides/Paramedics
- Phlebotomists available for lab draws
- IV Team available during business hours
- Respiratory Therapy available 24/7
- Pharmacy resource nurse available after hours
- Weekend and Holiday Requirements: Yes
- Common Diagnoses: Various critical cases in the Emergency Department
- Cancellation Policy: Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
