Role Description The Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This role is responsible for greeting customers, inspecting vehicles, and preparing accurate repair estimates using company and insurance guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include documenting damage, entering data into estimating systems, coordinating with technicians to confirm repair plans, and reviewing estimates with customers and insurance representatives. The Estimator follows up on approvals, updates repair orders, and communicates repair status to customers to ensure a smooth, transparent experience. The role also involves maintaining organized records, adhering to safety and quality standards, and supporting overall shop workflow and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Ability to accurately inspect vehicles, identify collision damage, and develop clear repair plans. Proficiency with computer-based estimating systems and basic office software. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills for working with customers, team members, and insurance representatives. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple estimates and repair orders. Knowledge of automotive collision repair processes and parts; prior estimating or body shop experience preferred. Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with technicians, and follow safety and quality procedures. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in collision repair, estimating, or automotive technology is an asset.
