Vice President, Sales & Marketing

We are seeking an executive leader to shape the future of venue experiences in the global mega-events capital. Position Summary The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is a high-visibility executive responsible for designing and executing modern revenue growth and brand transformation strategies. Reporting to, and partnering closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, you will lead high-performing sales and marketing teams, pioneer innovative commercial strategies, and optimize asset monetization across all venue spaces and service offerings. The hiring range for this position is $200,000.00 - $235,000.00 annually (paid on a bi-weekly basis). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience. This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus with a target of 20% of base salary, based on overall organizational performance and individual performance, and subject to the terms of the applicable bonus plan. Key Responsibilities Strategic Growth & Revenue: Drive total event revenue by developing dynamic pricing structures, modern sponsorship packages, and short/long-term booking strategies alongside the CRO and CFO. Integrated Marketing & Brand: Direct progressive marketing campaigns, digital positioning, and targeted lead-generation initiatives that cement the venue's global prestige and capture new market segments. Commercial Execution & Enablement: Oversee sales pipelines, pipeline reporting, key contract negotiations, and lead allocations to ensure peak facility occupancy and high profitability. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with NYC Tourism + Conventions, hospitality partners, and on‑site service leaders (including catering and event operations) to deliver seamless client experiences and elevate brand equity. Team Leadership & Culture: Inspire and manage cross‑functional sales and marketing teams, setting clear KPIs, fostering continuous professional growth, and instilling modern sales enablement tools and methodologies. Qualifications Industry Experience: 10+ years of executive leadership in hospitality, convention center, hotel enterprise, or destination marketing (DMO) sales and marketing. Strategic Vision: Proven track record of designing innovative, tech‑enabled sales strategies and multi‑channel marketing campaigns that directly impact bottom‑line revenue. Deal Execution: Demonstrated expertise in high‑stakes contract negotiation, asset monetization, dynamic pricing, and senior client account management. Modern Tool Tech‑Savvy: Proficiency with enterprise CRM systems, analytics, and emerging AI tools to optimize pipeline performance and business intelligence. Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management required; MBA or Master’s preferred.
