About the Position

Candidates must have experience with special care populations, including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health. The department cares for all age groups. Mandatory certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS. Candidates must be aware of the required Pass/Fail EKG exam for all RNs. Flexibility with scheduling is necessary, as the position requires covering weekends and holidays as needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential. Candidates should have experience with charting systems, specifically EPIC. This is a team-oriented environment that includes interdisciplinary support services. The role may require occasional floats to different departments or campuses. The position involves caring for patients with various emergency conditions, including trauma and critical care scenarios.
