Field Engineer – Heavy Civil Construction

We are seeking a motivated Field Engineer to join our team in supporting heavy civil construction projects. This is an ideal role for individuals with 1–3 years of experience who are eager to build a long-term career in the construction industry. You will assist Project Engineers and Project Managers in executing day-to-day field and office tasks, gaining exposure to DOT/public works projects and large-scale infrastructure.

This individual should be organized, detail-oriented, and ready to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

• Support field operations by assisting with layout, measurements, and quality control.
• Help prepare and track RFIs, submittals, daily reports and production
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications under guidance.
• Assist with quantity tracking and material delivery coordination.
• Maintain organized project documentation and logs.
• Participate in progress meetings and jobsite safety reviews.
• Communicate with foremen, superintendents, and vendors to support construction workflow.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or 3+ years in the construction industry.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings and documentation.
• Familiarity with software such as Bluebeam, HCSS, and CPM Scheduling.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work in both field and office settings.
• Interest in heavy civil construction and DOT/infrastructure projects.
