Registered NurseJob Title: Registered NurseProfession: NursingSpecialty: Step DownDuration: 13 WeeksShift: Night and Day Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 HoursExperience: Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in specialty applying for, including recent Step Down experience.License: Permanent state license or compact state license required at the time of submission.Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.Must-Have:18 months of recent Step Down experience is required.Must work every other holiday.ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be passed during orientation.Description: This position is in a Step Down Float Pool unit with potential to float to other units to care for a similar patient population. Shifts will be rotating between night and day. Shifts may vary as needed to meet operational requirements. Candidates should have experience in progressive care, although this is preferred but not mandatory. References from management within the specialty are required for qualification. Candidates must not have any open background cases or license issues. Specific nicotine-free requirements apply to non-nursing candidates. Drug screening will be required within 12 months of start date. Candidates must complete required competency assessments as part of ongoing training and compliance.
