Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Stepdown Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent stepdown experience. The ideal candidate will hold an active Ohio license or a compact state license, along with AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. Orientation time will be compensated at 50% of the base hourly rate. Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit. Monitor patient progress and administer medications as necessary. Complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a stepdown setting. Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand. AHA BLS and ACLS certification required. One reference from a supervisor in the specialty applying for is required for submission.
