Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies, or comparable program completion
• Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLPA
• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for facilitating student success in speech and language development

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement therapy plans for K-12 students
• Assist in conducting screenings and supporting speech-language assessment activities
• Provide direct speech and language services in individual or small group sessions, as outlined in student IEPs
• Monitor, record, and report on student progress toward individualized goals
• Support collaboration with teachers, other service providers, and families to enhance student outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of all therapy activities and required records
• Help prepare therapy materials and activities tailored to students’ diverse needs
