Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
• Active state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA
• Prior experience working with children in an educational or therapy-based setting is preferred
• Strong understanding of communication disorders in pediatric populations
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to implement therapy plans as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in alignment with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Support the Speech-Language Pathologist in preparing materials and setting up therapy sessions
• Track and document student progress; maintain accurate records according to school and legal guidelines
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as needed
• Adapt activities and materials to fit the varying needs of individual students
