Support Specialist

Support Specialist – Center Health Care Clinic Full‑time position reporting to the Director of Clinical Services. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers. Perform multiple administrative support functions including billing and tracking of insurance/funding requirements. Master schedule new evaluations and daily appointments. Support clinicians with day‑to‑day monitoring and tracking of documentation, scheduling needs, and prior authorizations for service. Make confirmation calls, enroll patients, schedule and track insurance requirements, manage practice incoming and outgoing calls, and respond to customer service requests. Assist in clinical sessions (lifting, transfers, patient and equipment assistance). Maintain clinical space and equipment, including logs, repairs, and routine service. Ensure overall cleanliness and organization of clinical space. Requirements High School diploma or GED required. Familiarity with insurance and medical billing and scheduling in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Detail oriented, organized and able to work independently. Minimum age 18. Ability to lift, bend, push, pull handling files, supplies, and patients/equipment up to 75–150 lbs. Compensation $17.78 – $20.64 per hour.
