Senior Aviation Project Engineer / Project Manager

As a result, a full-time position is available for a Senior Aviation Engineering Project Manager at our Sacramento, CA office location. Responsibilities Serves as project manager and/or project engineer on complex projects Serve as a technical resource and/or mentor Leads marketing pursuits and/or acts as a client contact Assist with development of engineering agreements for projects Responsible for schedules, work in progress, and timely completion of projects Prepares forecast of workload for projects, coordinates pricing, estimating, and scoping for proposed projects Prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects Develops probable construction cost estimates for projects and prepares and monitors in the quality manual Assist with contract administration Visits project sites to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents Other duties as assigned A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering from an accredited college or university and at least eight (8) years of experience A PE license is required. Ideal Candidate Experience leading aviation design and construction projects Experience serving as the project manager on aviation projects Experience mentoring and leading engineering project teams Construction management experience Experience in contract administration scope and fee preparation/negotiations Experience with Marketing and Business Development AutoCAD Civil 3D experience Other Information At Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first. Salary Range: $117,000 to $160,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
