Job Description

The Field Installation Coordinator is an integral member of the Site Project Management Team, tasked with coordinating installation of company equipment at customer facilities. This role involves collaboration with Site Project Teams, Remote Management, and customers to ensure effective installation processes. The position includes diverse assignments such as material planning, mechanical and electrical work, supervision, floor coordination, team leadership, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor scheduling, procedures, and performance of installation work at customer facilities, recommending necessary improvements.
• Oversee implementation and training of approved control systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Installation Site Manager and Site Management Team to analyze errors and develop solutions.
• Assist in coordinating and monitoring task execution and progress.
• Develop installation, qualification, and repair procedures for company equipment.
• Coordinate installation personnel to ensure work quality and provide appropriate training.
• Administer daily operations at customer facilities.
• Receive and oversee the installation of parts for company equipment.
• Manipulate, retrieve, and create reports for the Installation Site Manager.
• Monitor, guide, and train contractors and vendors for efficient operations.
• Compile and complete a Punch list with Installation subcontractors to formally complete a project.
• Supervise and coordinate material movement, electrical and mechanical contractors, and QAQC work based on project needs.
• Attend daily field whiteboard meetings.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of equipment installation coordination within a manufacturing environment.
• Natural leadership skills, verified through references or military experience.
• 2+ years of mechanical hands-on troubleshooting and/or installation experience.
• 1+ year of basic electrical testing with Multimeters.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in mechanical equipment, project coordination, troubleshooting, wiring, equipment installs, and electro/mechanical systems.
• Experience with pre-wiring components, junction boxes, and basic electrical testing.
• Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, budgeting, planning, schedule coordination, and submission.
• Knowledge of AC/DC motors, conveyors, cranes, maintenance repair, gear boxes, PLCs, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site at the TSMC site in North Phoenix, requiring no travel. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, primarily within a cleanroom setting requiring full cleanroom suit compliance. The work culture emphasizes clarity, honesty, and realistic expectations, supported by team-oriented and straightforward leadership. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
