Description - What You Will Accomplish

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various specialties such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Assess results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold high laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree. Certification preparation through ASCP/AMT is required.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of joining the team.
• Current certification must be maintained throughout employment.
