Description - Your Responsibilities

• Assess results for precision, manage troubleshooting, and maintain the calibration and preventative upkeep of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and, if necessary, prepare samples for diagnostic testing.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and ensure adherence to laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an allied health degree coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your career in this role.
